IES - Student scholarship for ETFA 2008
The IES Student Activities Committee offers financial aid for students to attend ETFA 2008. For 2008 we have allocated 3 scholarships of $ 500 each.
In order to participate in this program the applicants must fulfill the following conditions:
-be an active IEEE-IES Student Member,
-reside outside the city in which the conference is held,
-have a paper accepted at the Conference and be the person who will present it,
-no more than one scholarship will be allocated for one paper, or the one person in the same year.
Students interested in this program should submit an application form for the scholarship.

Applicants should indicate their IEEE membership number and the reference number of the paper. Please submit all necessary documents by e-mail (e-mail is preferred in pdf format), or air mail to:

Evaluation of applications
Your application will be evaluated by a Committee constituted by the Chair of IES Student Activities Committee, IES President, Conference General Chair, and IES Treasurer.
In case the number of applicants exceeds the budget, preference will be given to:
-students with the best qualified papers according with the review of each conference,
-students who have not benefited from this program in the last two years.

Student Scholarship will be paid during conference, when recipient submit to IES Treasurer U.S. tax form W-8 more information and download at http://ieee-ies.org/treasurer/.
